10 Days Detailed Itinerary:
DAY 1: ARRIVE CAPE TOWN
On arrival at Cape Town International Airport (CIA), you will meet our representative, and then transfer to your hotel. The balance day is at leisure.
DAY 2: AT CAPE TOWN (B)
In the morning after breakfast, your Tour guide will meet you for a tour of the ‘Mother City’. See the table mountain, the picturesque Malay Quarter with its cobbled streets, pastel houses, see the Houses of Parliament, the Castle, the SA Museum, and other historical sights. The highlight is a visit to the bustling Greenmarket Square flea market. Return to the waterfront. Balance day at leisure.
DAY 3: AT CAPE TOWN (B)
A fullday tour of the spectacular Cape Peninsula. Find out why it’s called the ‘Fairest Cape’. See the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Sea Point and Camps Bay, past the famous beaches of Clifton and Landudno. Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and the scenic viewing point where the Atlantic and the Indian Oceans meet. From here we drive along the Indian Ocean coastline, where we visit the beautiful Boulders Beach... sit among the famous colony of Jackass Penguins. Afterwards, enjoy a short stop at the naval port of Simon’s Town, before returning to Cape Town for overnight.
DAY 4: CAPE TOWN - OUDTSHOORN (B)
Enjoy the next two days with a well experienced Tour Guide for the scenic garden route in the Garden Route Wonderland Tour. The tour begins with a pick-up in Cape Town from your hotel by 0800 hrs. We travel via Montagu on Route 62 (South Africa's equivalent of the famous Route 66 in America), to the pretty village of Barrydale in time for a tea stop at the Country Pumpkin Restaurant. Afterwards, we continue for Oudtshoorn, known as the ‘Feather Capital’ of the world. Visit the Cango Caves, regarded as one of South Africa's foremost natural wonders, before proceeding to your hotel for check-in.
DAY 5: OUDTSHOORN - KNYSNA (B)
In a tour of an ostrich farm, get enlightened and learn more about these fascinating birds, from the history of ostrich farming to the breeding and rearing of ostriches, in an operating farm. You will also have a chance to ride on one of these extraordinary birds. (At extra cost) You will then travel to Knysna – a bustling town with its magnificent & terrific lagoon.
DAY 6: AT KNSYNA (B)
Day at leisure. Evening the Featherbed cruise on the Knysna Lagoon.
DAY 7: KNYSNA – GEORGE - JO’BURG (B)
After breakfast, depart for George Airport for your flight to Johannesburg. On arrival at the Johannesburg International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in. In the afternoon enjoy a tour of the Gold Reef City.
DAY 8: JOHANNESBURG - SUN CITY (B)
After breakfast, continue with Sun City, better known as ‘The City that never Sleeps’. After check-in, the remaining of the day, is at your leisure to explore this magnificent city.
DAY 9: AT SUN CITY (B)
Day at leisure. You may discover the many myths & legends from Africa’s distant past, which surround The Lost City, a photographer’s dream come true with its magnificent ancient architecture and beautiful landscapes. Try your luck to win, in their many casinos available there.
Optional: Safari game drive in the Pilanesburg Nature Reserve.
DAY 10: SUN CITY - JO’BURG – HOME CITY
Transfer will take you to Johannesburg International Airport for your flight back home. You may stop-over at Dubai on your way back if you want.
